I've been thinking about the concert I saw last week of John Sebastian. Here's a musical legend, now a grandfather who's quite old...Probably will die in the next decade or two. But it wasn't so long ago that he was my age, starting his career as a musician. Not long ago at all. And he'll be dead soon.

I dunno. Kinda silly stuff to write about. But for some reason seeing him live, and old, and looking at photos of him as a mid-twenties kid makes me think about our fleeting days.

it's coming. life is so incredibly short. let's not waste our time.
